Our train pulls out of the tunnel and into Krystal Lake, a small rural town named after the lake on the banks of which it sits. As you can see by the station, which is just an old wooden CN boxcar with new doors added, Krystal Lake is merely a quick pass through on a train's way to Alanda. Look closely on the right bottom corner of the picture, it's an old-time, old bottled, Coca-Cola machine. The white building is the local hotel, and a railfan's delight.
